New Apartment in Chicago!

Yes - it's true.

Our new apartment exceeded even our expectations, and we feel quite at home here. For those of you who have visited (Leah and Girls) I hope you will spread the word to those who have not (everyone else :) and let them know that they are welcomed here.

We officially moved in last Thursday. After an exciting morning of our Moving Van getting stuck in one of the underground roads here in Chicago, we finally got our boxes in by Thursday evening. We had a wonderful weekend with loved ones (thanks Leah!) and though we are still moving in, I thought I'd post some pictures.

To our left, we see - a bedroom. Not very exciting, until you take into account the beautiful view from the window. I love how the light from windows floods the whole house.

View from the Bedroom

The Main area of the house - living room, dining room, and entry way, are still pretty much in the aftermath of a tornado. This clip will, however, give a feel for my favorite part of the house. When we signed on, the realtors said that this is basically one of the best views in the building. I believe it! I now no longer require google maps to spy on people :D

Our kind landlord also left a set table and chairs for us to use, they fit the mood of the house perfectly!

The bathroom - a very monochromatic feel, which I love! Who cares if it always looks a little dirty - it's artistic.

Our closet (where our first red-headed child will live, haha, just kidding) But, seriously folks, this will be the baby's room for the first little while :)

And the second bathroom

Sending out our love from Chicago! More information coming soon (including a very exciting ultrasound on Wednesday. . . )

From this happy Marriage-therapist-in-training, I hope you had fun reading it because I had fun posting it!
