This is what I heard resonating from the park below our apartment. Duane played the white knight and took care of Rella while I enjoyed something truly unique:
The Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade
NO Joke!! They dye the Chicago River GREEN!
After that, the parade begins at NOON
Some of my favorite furry kind of people were there. . .
There were the cutest groups of curly-haired Irish dancing girls
(I couldn't get a clear picture, so this one is on the web)
OH! They must have been freezing!!! It was a blustery day in Chicago.
But that didn't keep the dog-lovers away
(This second picture is of the BIGGEST dogs I've EVER seen!)
The Parade seem to have HUNDREDS of entries, After about 2 hours they were only halfway through! It was a fun experience.

Hey Kelty! This is Mandi, Leahs sister in law. That river is so cool! My friend is actually in Chicago attending purdue and sent me some pics of it too! How awesome!
I totally didn't know about the green river thing! I wish I'd gone when we lived there!
