SPONTANEOUS trip to MOAB!

Duane and I woke up the other morning and thought "Hey! it would be so fun to go to moab!" - long story short = we did.

YESSSS!!!
It was about a 5 hour drive from our humble home to this utah getaway, and the whole drive was quite fun. Kelty cracked jokes that cannot be recorded here (well, not THAT bad) and duane took pictures of random cars on the freeway



When we first made it to town, we stopped on main street to eat and "stroll main street" (I think that is what cool people do ;) and then we decided to go on the famous "delicate arch" hike:

It was a wonderful experience. Though there was alot of strong wind and dust on the way up and even stronger dust storms on the way down, Duane and I practiced flying with the gusts of wind and it was a memorable time.


Driving back was not as sunny as the drive to Moab, and we hit a snowstorm on the way home. Duane patiently coaxed me through the hard parts, and I focused on following the taillights in front of me.

I am so grateful that we have the opportunities to be spontaneous!
