Graduate School

As my belly has been growing, my mind has been too! I am taking a full load of classes at Adler, including:

Basic Skills in Psychotherapy - with Dr. Gellman

This is the same faculty member I was interviewed by, who impressed me to come to the Adler School. He may look like a serious teacher, but actually creates a very fun class atmosphere with lots of discussion.

Assessment and Treatment from a Systems Perspective - with Dr. Todd

Dr. Todd is also the Chair of the Marriage and Family Therapy department, and is famous for using colorful language in class (like, the full rainbow).

Professional Seminar - Dr. Killmer

Dr. Killmer is a very nice professor who is helping me navigate through next semesters classes, considering the fact that MOTHERHOOD will be my heaviest course. Lots of study time needed for that one.

And. . . Community Psychology - Dr. Trotter

Picture unavailable for this professor. I think it would be fair to say, considering the stimulating discussion and debate I so look forward to in this class, it's my favorite right now.

Aside from classes, I have had some moments to reflect on my life - and I have to say I feel very blessed.

I live in an exciting, dynamic city

I have a healthy baby growing inside of me

I have caring family who are always there for me

I am fortunate enough to be able to attend Graduate school and learn how to change the world

AND I am married to my crush

It makes me want to put on a sundress and dance!
