CANADA in 3 days or less

Friday evening Duane and I headed off to Canada to see our beloved family and family-in-law. It was a packed weekend full of lots of visiting and sugar!

We arrived in Calgary at 3am on saturday morning, slept at a hotel, enjoyed a great breakfast, and headed off to Lethbridge, Alberta in our little rental car. Lethbridge is located in the lower part of Alberta, Canada (for those of you who didn't know where Canada was located until you were about 15, I'm right there with you)

It was nice to go from this. . .

To this. . .

We arrived in Lethbridge just in time to prepare for Halloween Festivities!

Duane's oldest sister - Sera - has a host of creative abilities. This year she made herself and four friends into musketeers using duck tape, black paper, and white paper (for the hats) and a little blue fabric. They looked great! Pictured here sorting the goodies.

I enjoyed helping the little "devils" get ready and go trick-or-treating (it was really fun! and I got some candy too!) Pictured here with Daphne (I was a princess for Halloween, Make-up compliments of Darian)

It's so fun to see the brothers get together

Chris is on the left and Danny is on the right. Okey, here is a quick run down of the Johnson families and their

It's fun to see these pictures. I love seeing pictures of you pregnant Kelty-love the one in the white sweater because I can see evidence of a new niece. Creative Musketeer costumes Sarah! Sarah and Amber look beautiful hugging each other. Isn't it great to have wonderful family members to visit?!

Looks like a FUN time!

Honestly, Kelty, it is really quite an adjustment for me to see photos of you in your Maternal Phase. I don't KNOW you this way. It's my daughter, but is it really?

Well, soon enough I'll get adjusted since we'll be TOGETHER!!!

Love, Mom
