Raising a Baby in the City

"What is it like to raise a baby in the city?" some have asked me. Other than flying the questioner out to Chicago, and having them live in the middle of the city, and somehow give them a baby, I thought I'd make things simple and write some of my thoughts :)

First of all - it's really important to keep Rella bundled up - Chicago gets very cold in the winter.

Visiting Daddy at the Board of Trade for Lunch

This is our "little bundle" after a swim in the Harbor Point Pool

When it's especially cold outside,
Condo living helps because of amenities

Some of our inside activities: Rella and I will take a dip in the warm pool, go shopping at the downstairs grocery store, or play in the playroom (video below). The pool especially is a great way to work out while having fun with Rella - who is already quite the little fish.

Though there is less nature here at our fingertips in the city (something I miss alot) I can still take Rella out of the City. For now, we are happy little clams.

So is harbour point where you live? What Im trying to say is, IS THAT PLAUROOM IN YOUR BUILDING? Whoa, either way, incredibly cool! Wish there were more places to take B during the winter!
